We started trying linPRO in the ration for our layer hens and noticed magnificent benefits. The productivity and health status of birds are significantly improved. In addition, the eggs are much more enriched with natural Omega-3 fatty acids and taste better. linPRO is an excellent product for both producers and consumers.
We studied the effects of enriching breeder hens with linPRO as well as the effects on their chicks to see if the immune boosting properties of the omega-3 fatty acids would support improved broilers and layers. It was found linPRO does have a positive effect and we’ve successfully published our findings in Poultry Science
“We’ve seen a noticeable increase in component correct milk production which has offset the cost of the inclusion of the Omega-3 feed ingredients. By producing more milk, we are reducing our carbon footprint (reducing methane emissions) and making our dairy operation more sustainable. Plus, the marketability of Omega-3 raw milk is allowing us to produce a softer, spreadable and healthier butter.”
